West Vancouver, British Columbia – July 17, 2007 – Columbia Yukon Explorations Inc. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the following senior advisor appointments of Mr. Henry Ewanchuk, P.Eng. and Mr. Ed Yurkowski, P.Eng.
Mr. Ewanchuk has a long and successful career in exploration and mine development in Canada. In the past he has held numerous executive positions with public exploration and mining companies including Imperial Metals Corporation, Mascot Gold Mines Limited and E&B Explorations Inc.
Mr. Yurkowski is president of Procon Mining and Tunneling Ltd., a Vancouver based full service mining contractor with operations in North America and other continents. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Imperial Metals Corporation.
With their assistance, the Company expects to bring the Storie Molybdenum Deposit to a successful development completion.
The Company is currently core drilling up to 40,000m at the Storie deposit with the plan to expand and reclassify the recently reported NI 43-101 inferred resource of 101.6 mt to an indicated resource as recommended in the report.
