(the “Company”) is pleased to announce that: “CEO Clips” (a series of 1-2 minute corporate profiles on Canadian companies) will feature Columbia Yukon on BNN during the week of September 1st through to  September 9th, 2008.

About Columbia Yukon Explorations:

As previously reported, Columbia Yukon is focused on verifying and upgrading the molybdenum resources on its “Storie Property” Moly deposit. The Storie deposit is presently open in three directions. In addition, there is at least one untested molybdenum occurrence (M Zone) which merits further investigation. The Company has an aggressive drilling program already underway for 2008, including 20,000 to 25,000 metres of NQ diamond drilling, which is being laid out on 50 m x 50 m centres to delineate the deposit further to the west where there has only been very little (historic) drilling.

Recently (See News Release dated August 5, 2008), Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited and Mintec, Inc. (Columbia Yukon’s independent consulting geologists and engineers) prepared an updated NI 43-101 Mineral Resource estimate for the Company which confirmed the total Indicated Mineral Resource in the Storie deposit (using a 0.030% Mo cutoff grade) at 98.3 million tonnes grading 0.064% Mo and on Inferred Mineral Resource of 31 million tonnes grading 0.059% Mo at the same cutoff.
